Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy HDV to DVNTSC

    Hi,

Our editing facility just started using HDV footage along with HDCAM footage. We typically offline all our shows in DVNTSC (downconverted from HDCAM tapes). Is there a seamless way to capture HDV footage through firewire into FCP at DVNTSC resolution.

    Thanks,
    Craig

HDV cameras usually have a downconvert option built in.

    Hi,

I know that is true for the analog outputs (composite and S video) but how about through firewire????
