    Hey folks,

want to get some advice on best workflow if I’m not already doing it. I captured some native HDV footage and changed my render settings for Pro res 422. I did my full renders with relative ease and am noe ready to export QT reference files. The export time says it will take hours which I imagine is because it is not fully conformed. At this point, I should:

    – just export as qt reference and wait it out?

    – Change render settings back to native hdv and conform, then export?

    – something else?

Got time, just want to be as efficient as I can. Many thanks!

If you’ve changed your compressor to ProRes and re-rendered, making certain that “Full” was checked in the Render All dropdown, you are as good as you’ll ever be toward an efficient export. No conform is necessary as with HDV.
