HDV Greenscreen Workflow help, please
I just got an HDV camera and shot several takes against a Green Screen to create a simple music video. Several questions about workflow:
1) Is After Effects the best choice to create a video like this from scratch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpB6_sTl7aI or is something like Vegas Video better?
2) As far as work-flow, should I Chroma-Key each video-take and save each as 720×480 transparent background videos to start combining them in the final project (to keep individual file sizes from getting too large to deal with)? Or keep the individual video sizes at 1920×1080 until the final rendering?
I’m running WinXP 2.8 CPU w/2BG ram and woefully uneducated on working with HDV and related software programs to get bet results. Any feedback is appreciated, thanks!
PS – That Youtube video example I showed is way, WAY better than anything I’d hope to achieve, but I DID want to use multiple greenscreen video-takes to move in/out of the video like that in a much simpler way.
