Is capturing in HDV (.m2T) a bad idea for streaming video.

Is it better to down convert to DV from HDV for web use.

    I shoot with a Sony Z1U (1080 60i) and I edit with Vegas.

What is the best capturing and rendering settings to get the highest quality web video?

Any feedback will be extremely appreciated!

Just go ahead and capture .m2t, edit .m2t, and then render as needed to whatever formats you need (including WMV).
