    Hi!

I’m trying to capture my first HDV footage with Vegas.
I set my project settings right (don’t know if that’s important), and select capture->HDV..
But the problem is: Instead of coming out correctly, each clip is divided into tiny parts, f.eks. a 10 second shot turn into 14 clips.

    Any ideas?

I’m going to guess that you are not using a Sony HDV camera and that your camera is not supported properly by Vegas HDV capture. Try disabling HDV scene detection (it’s in the capture prefs). If that doesn’t work, post your camera make and model so that hopefully someone who has experience with your camera can help.
