HDV footage captured in FCP and burn captured QT movies to dvd and wont open on pc QTime application
I captured HDV footage with FCP and burned those captured movies to a DVD and droped them onto my Windows XP based computer and my windows-based Quicktime Player Pro 7.0.3 will not open the files. How do I get the files to be windows compatable for After Effects or Combustion or Premiere.

Well, first of all, did you capture in the HDV codec and burn those files to a DVD or did you convert those files to another codec? Secondly, do you have a program on your computer worthy of doing HDV, such as Sony Vegas 6 or Adobe Premiere Pro? Very few PC programs can handle HDV in its natural codec.
