HDV export to DVD
I am using Premiere Pro 2.0 and have 30 minutes of HDV that I want to export to DVD. Can I use my DVD burner or should I upgrade to PP 4.0 and Blueray? Premiere Pro 2.0 has been adequate for DV. Thanks in advance.

If you export HDV for DVD, you will be down-converting to standard def (720×480 for NTSC)
Blu-Ray will allow you to burn HD. Of course, you’ll need a Blu-Ray burner, CS4 and a Blu-Ray player. Very few people have Blu-Ray, so unless this is for a targeted audience or live event, you will be better off with DVDs.
