    HDV Dropped Frames

    I am shooting 24p in my new V1U and transferring the files via the DR60. converting them into MPEG streamclip to 1080i HDV and getting dropped frames warning. Is the MPEG conversion a bad idea. Should i capturing the footage from the camera?

    yes, mpeg conversion is a bad idea. capture the clip from camera itself.
