    Hi There,

    OK Short version.

    Camera original footage in HDV.
    Capture and edited in DV.
Would now like to capture the edited sequence in HDV.
So how do I capture a DV project in HDV?

    Long Version.

I was away from my main editing computer(G5) and using my PowerBook while I was away, but my PowerBook is not suitible for HDV work, so I captured at DV settings using the camera to down convert.
I would like to convert this project to HDV now that I’m back on my G5, so I change the sequence to HDV, change my capture settings to HDV and batch capture.

This all works fine, except HDV footage is captured into separate clips on each stop of record on the camera, how ever my original clips where not necessarily captured with these in/out points. So now my clips wont reconnect because the clips are now different.

Now see sort version for the question.

    Any ideas, Thanks,
    Stephen Botting

How were your original clips captured? Did you capture now? Log and capture? Batch capture?

From memory I think it was capture now, as there is still timecode attached to it I didn’t think it would be a problem.

    Thanks,
    Stephen
