HDV Capture with FCP 4.5?
It looks like FCP5 can capture HDV natively, but is there a way to do it with 4.5? Folks at my office are telling me it should work, but I cannot see how. I’ve installed HDVxDV which, though very very slow and not at all what I need in terms of repeatable workflow, captures HDV from the camera and converts it to a more edit-friendly I-frame codec.
Is there a better way or is upgrading to 5 the only way to do this right?
