HDV
If I have footage in HDV will the Aja Kona tranfer this footage to 4×3 for beta sp editing? If the camera man gives me this on a hard drive is it possible to trasnfer this to 4×3? if so how would I do this?

You can use Compressor to do this en masse to the clips, or you can simply put them in a 4:3 SD sequence and render them. If you want to avoid the rendering, then Use Compressor’s Advancec format conversions to down convert them to SD.
If your machine is a fast one, I’d not bother with Compressor, unless all of the clips are going to be used.
