HDV 24P workflow
Have some HDV-24P footage (from JVC-HD100) and Cineform Connect-HD to get my AVI clips into Vegas…where is the HDV-24P template on project properties panel to work on my timeline ?? … whats the best recomendation to work with these files on Vegas ??
any comment would be greatly apreciated.

I use the JVC HD100 wiht CineForm (Connect HD from CineForm; $199). Make sure when you capture or convert from the JVC HD100, it has the 24P setting and no rate or convert changes in the CineForm Preference Menu.
Then go Sony Vegas 6 – to File – Properities and set TAMPLET to
HDV-720-25P, then manually change the 25P to 24P. Then set Frame Rate to 23.976 (IVTC Film) and APPLY.
You can impoort your CineForm files and edit.
When you want to render it back to M2T go Render MPG2 and change the special setting to GOP6 and 24P. Similar to print it to Tape. Go to Tools and print to HDV tape.JK
