Could someone give me a few explanations about the CS3 HDTV format which is available in the “Export to tape” settings. For which application is it made? What is the benefits compared to the 1080i setting. Many thanks.

It depends on your source footage. If your source is 1080i, then use the 1080i preset. If your source is 1080p, then use the 1080p preset.

Thank you Aanarav for the information, my question is mainly aimed at knowing the specificity of the HDTV formats available within CS3 export settings. Are they specially devoted to creating movies to be viewed on TV? In this case what are the benefits compared with 1080?
