    Kristian,

We are looking for HDSDI-to-HDMI converter boxes that will ingest 23.976pSF, 24pSF and 29.97pSF framerates — and unify the segmented frames to progressive formats via the HDMI output. We need this functionality to support high-end consumer monitors and DreamColor monitors that only work with progressive HDMI signals.

We know the AJA Hi-5 3G will do it — but we’d rather buy Blackmagic.

Is it true that Blackmagic’s HDSDI-to-HDMI converter — and the Blackmagic’s Broadcast Converter will do 23.976pSF, 24pSF — but not 29.97pSF?

And, if so, when can we expect 29.97pSF?

    Thanks
