HDLink 23″ vs. 30″ CinemaDisplay

All the gamma stuff goes on in the HDLink, and you can go as far as custom 10bit LUTs if you want.

I read that the Dell stretches 16:9 to 16:10 on the component input though, and this alone, IMHO, would make it unusable for me. However, over the HDLink it will not do that. HDforIndies.com had a report on it last week. It will have some form of calibration on the component, but nothing as advanced as what is able to be done through the HDLink, which goes way beyond brightness and contrast.
