    HDCAM playback on Panasonic DVCPRO HD Deck

    I am trying to find out if i can playback a Sony HDCAM tape on a Panasonic DVCPRO HD Deck. I thought I could find the answer, but I can’t.

    You cannot do that. HDCam is the Size of e.g. DigiBeta, DVCProHD tapes are much smaller. A HDCam tape won

    Yes Floh, the Panasonic HD 1400 deck will play DVCAM, but not HDCAM as you rightly say.
