HDCAM 25p in FCP
Greetings from Sunny london.
I’m shooting a project in 25p HDCAM and the company are posting in FCP 5. my question is; Is there any support for HDCAM 1080 25pfs either in apple or as 3rd pary support? Or is there anything in the settings menu I should give the editor. I dont know his skill base but as allways its best to assume the worst.

I see 1080i25 as a Kona 3 setting, so looks like the Kona 3 has that option…

What are you to deliver? If the program is for broadcast then use the 1080 50i setting. I use that setting with the Decklink Blackmagic card for broadcast HD, even with HDcam shot at 25p. Better to check the deliverable requirements first.
If it is for scan to film then 1080 25p setting is more appropriate, but again, ask the people who are doing your scan to film (if that is the path).
