    Hello!

Since i’ve been using Final Cut for only 1 week, i’m having trouble to pulldown my animation…

I’ve rendered an animation in Maya with 24 frames size HD720…

I’ve imported it on final cut pro (latest version) created a timeline with the same size and frame rate…

Now i need to export it on a NTSC DV 16:9 and 29,97 frames per second to send to the soundtrack guy….

How can I do this? Using export using quicktime conversion? What are the settings I need to use?

    Thanks guys!

WHy can’t the Soundtrack guy work at 24fps?

Well, one thing you can do is take your animation, drop it into a DV/NTSC timeline (sequence) and render. Then export. It won’t look good, but he’ll get it. But, what’s the point? You created a 24fps thing, you need a 24fps mix. Well, really, Audio doesn’t have FPS….but if you don’t mix at the frame rate you are editing, there are issues.

What Shane said. Frame rate means nothing to the sound designers, it’s just seconds.

If they insist on the 29.97 deal, just do what shane said.
