    hi,

I am working on a video project and I want to render it HD. But it doesnt work.
My Video properties are this at the moment: NTSC-DV (720×480; 29,970 fps)

When I select one of the HD optinions when rendering the following error appears:
Sony Vegas doesnt support this frame size output (larger than 1440x 1080).

Even though I didnt select a frame size bigger than that.

So how can I get my video HD and on vimeo HD then? I read on vimeo that it is limited to 24 fps?

Can anyone help me and explain how to get my video HD and make sure it will be displayed at vimeo HD too?

    thanks

What version of Vegas are you using (Vegas Pro 8, Vegas 7, Vegas Movie Studio ?). What render type and template did you choose when you received that error? Is your source footage HD? (otherwise why would you want to stretch SD footage 5x larger up to HD?)

I am using Sony Vegas Movie Studio 8b.
No my footage is from in-game recordings and pictures.

I tried nearly all templates and render type and always the same error.

    Vimeo says:
“Can I upload in HD right now?

Yes. To take advantage of HD, all you have to do is upload a clip that’s 1280×720 resolution or better. Our servers will make a standard quality version first, then a little later your clip will appear in HD.”

So how can I guarantee that my video has the right resolution?

I don’t believe that Vegas Movie Studio supports HD. You need to upgrade to Vegas Movie Studio Premium for HD support. That might be your problem.

Sorry that’s Vegas Movie Studio Platinum (not Premium)
