    Hi there.

I have a question regarding my AVCHD footage and Premiere Pro CS4. I have a friend who works with CS4 and about 6 months ago I wanted to export my edited AVCHD footage into SD for a DVD, but no matter what settings I used, the export was awful.

I’ve seen Jeff Bellune’s video on converting HD to SD using Premiere Pro CS4 but I don’t believe the program had the ‘Use Maximum Render Quality’ option back then.

I am considering purchasing Adobe Production Suite CS5 and just want to make sure that I will be able to export high quality SD DVD’s from my AVCHD footage.

Has anyone else done this and be willing to tell me how good the DVD’s look after that import? Does the ‘Use Maximum Render Quality’ option make a lot of difference, and are there other changes in the CS4 updates that improve the quality?

The specs of my source video are:

    Image Size: 1920 x 1080
    Pixel Depth: 32
    Frame Rate: 29.97

    Thanks,

    David

    Thanks and take care,

    David
