    Hello,

I’ve looked at other posts, but haven’t found exactly what I’m looking for solution wise so
pardon if there is a post I haven’t found.

I am working with HD 1080i footage and NTSC 4:3 footage.

Production wants to keep final sequence as 4:3 which will be broadcast.

What should I set my sequence settings at for 4:3 export? It is fine that the
    HD footage be cropped vertically.

    Thanks!
    Ellen

better tell us what you’re actually shooting “HD” with. I bring in our HDCam via HDSDI normally, but years ago when we started with HD I bought the 525 card which has a SD SDI spigot. We capture SD SDI natively for 4×3. The timeline (sequence) was set for SD (720×486).

Non-linear: all the time and nothing but.
