HD Quicktime footage not playing all the way crashing ae
Hello Everyone,
I’ve been sent some green screened footage as a quicktime. The file imports fine into AE, but When I drag the file into a composition and try to view it at a quarter resolution (it’s only 80 mb) I can see maybe 3 frames. Then the video stops and the little swirling rainbow ball of death appears and doesn’t go away. Forcing me to quit ae and restart.
When I check the quicktime info box in I see under codes “animation, integer little Endian”. I am guessing this is the culprit. Anyone ever run into this an know how to fix the problem?

Hi Dave,
Yes, I am on a mac. The quicktime is 8 seconds, but only pays the first second and then freezes. I think you are correct, the file may be corrupted.
