  HD on DVD – is it possible?

  Hi everyone,

  I have a 5 min HD video (1920×1080 progressive) that I need to burn through Encore CS4 to a playable disc, to be played on a computer with a blu-ray player.

  As a photojpeg @ 90% its about 3 gb at the moment.

  Questions are:

  1. Is it possible to burn this to a normal DVD-R or does it have to be a BD-R?

  2. If you can burn to a normal DVD-R can it be done on a normal DVD burner? i.e. no need for a blu-ray writer.
