  HD monitoring

  Hi, has anyone used the Sony LMD2050W monitor for their post facilities? Apparently there’s an HD module that attaches to the back. We’re in the process of upgrading our monitors and our main HQ across the country is suggesting that we get these. I haven’t found any real info about them or any reviews, and most folks are saying that Sony is actually the weakest when it comes to mid-price (2500 -4000) LCD monitoring. I think that our HQ has a deal with Sony, so they prefer to work with them, is my guess. I see a couple monitors from Panasonic and JVC that seems like good choices, but if this Sony monitor is good, then I’d rather not deal with the hassle of going against the corporate grain.
