Can anyone point me towards a resource with current info for figuring out which HD formats are being used in which countries?

Seems most of the google results are still talking about SD formats of the world, and most of the links are from the early 2000’s.

Is it as simple as NTSC countries use 1080i60, and PAL/SECAM uses 1080i50? What about 720p50/60? What about M-PAL, all of the weird variations on SECAM, etc…

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

(It would also be wonderful if there was info about HD market penetration, but I’ll be happy just to get a current list of broadcast formats.)

I am producing a program series which I intend to license to TV channels mostly in Europe. What I learned is the standard is rather 1080/50i. The program should be interlace as progressive materials can be rejected.
