HD image is flashing
I am working with Media Composer 4 on an AVID Adrenaline HD.
Every time I play an HD sequence out to my monitor is gets all crazy and flashes between different frames. It plays fine on the computer monitor but is crazy on the HD consumer set.
The SD outputs are fine.
Anyone every experience this. Any guess as to whether it’s the Avid or the monitor????

What format is your project? How is your monitor connected to your Adrenaline box?

The project that I’m working in now is 720p. But I checked one of my other 1080i projects and a different 720p project. We were connected with an HDMI cable through an adaptor, but we checked with an HD tri-cable (component) and also hooked up to a different monitor with HD/SDI cable. It does the same thing in each case.
And ALL of these projects (and set ups) were fine a week ago….
So something was right and now is wrong.
