Well, I jumping into Hd with the HVX for the first time. I am trying to figure out what would be the best format to shoot something that may eventually go to broadcast. Some projects may be doing some over-cranking, so I guess 720P for those projects. What I am trying to understand what to use, 720/24P which I guess is over 60 or 720/Pn. I am just trying to understand the workflow. So assuming if I shoot 720/Pn I would have to do a 3:2 pull-down to make it ready for television? I have see people talk about shooting 720/60p and then converting to 1080 for broadcast, but being at 60 means you wouldn’t be able to over-crank if I understand this right. Anyways, any info on any of these formats that would be best for broadcast down the road would help. Thanks

No right answer. 720/24pN certainly gives you the most flexbility and it’s very easy to create the pulldowns and up-converts as you may need them.
