  HD Expo – Worthwhile Experience?

  Hi,

  (I posted this in the Panasonic HVX forum, but also want Avid feedback as well. If there’s a better way to post to multiple forums, could someone tell me how? Thanks.)

  I’m considering going to Burbank for the HD Expo P2 Workflow Workshop. Has anyone out there ever been to HD Expo?

  I’m an Avid editor for a small shop with big clients, constantly going back to past projects for revisions, b-roll, etc. We’ve recently switched to HPX-500’s and P2 workflow – Gotta tell ya, we’re running into some major workflow/storage/archiving problems that we never dreamed of with tape.

  Any feedback on expo experiences of the past would be great, particularly regarding the usefulness of workshops.
