HD Editing Problem Error
I Have loaded HD footage in vegas 7 with latest update. Everything goes well. When it comes down to opening the edited HD project an erroer comes up saying Some Streams in the media file could be opened. The detail tab says A nested project sourcs media file was not found. Can someone help me out and let me know what is going on? I’m wasting so much editing time . Thanks inadvance

If you have no nested veg files in the timleine, check the Project Media tab. Delete it from there if you find one.

Hi Gary, I Found the file in the Project media. But the footage has no video or audio. So weird . So what you think is going on? Thanks

A .veg file is a project file that is only a proxy for the media in that project (except if it has rendered the corresponing audio file).
