  HD Broadcast monitor FCP Sync Issues!

  Hi,
  I have a Panasonic BT-LH1700WP HD monitor and I am having a hard time getting the external video option in FCP to sync with the monitor so the video plays. I have a Blackmagic Decklink 6.0 HD Extreme card and a BNC cable connected out of the card and into the SDI in on the monitor.

  I have gone to Video playback in the VIEW dropdown and have clicked HDTV 1080 options and it detects a signal, but… The only way it shows video is when I click SINGLE FRAMES and then click SHOW CURRENT. It shows only one frame and does not follow the video when i play in time line. But if i stop at another shot i have to click SHOW CURRENT again and it will show that shot and so on.

  How can I get the video to play smoothly on this monitor! Thank u!
