So I’m working in an AE comp that is 1920×1080. Everything is groovy and it’s time to render. The editor is going to be using to rendered comp in a SD NTSC, 720×486 project. At least most of the video was shot in that format. I don’t want to, but if needed, is there a way to do a Pan and Scan render from After Effects? If not the Avid will distort the animation upon importing because that software re-rasterizes all incoming footage to match the projects native dimensions… unlike FCP. Also, who needs to budge. Me with my HD resolution or him with his SD res? Thanks….
