Absolutely no idea with that information. I would say get the top of the line HDCAM camera from Sony so you have the most flexibility for anything. I’m pretty sure it’s in the $100k price range with the lens.

What are you planning to shoot? How do you plan to edit? What master format do you need to deliver to? Are you shooting studio or field? etc… etc…. etc….

You should go browse the HD forums here in the Cow, there are several of them, and once you figure out exactly what you’re going to do with the camera, post some queries there.

Since you didn’t specify a budget I would say go for the HDCAM SR format. If that doesn’t suit your needs then try the Thompson Vipercam.
If you need something more in the mid-budget arena I would suggest either the new HVX-200 P2 system from Panasonic or the XDCAMHD from Sony for a little more money. Canon also has the XL1HD and JVC has their 100 camera. For low budget HDV work you can look into the Sony HDV cameras.
