I am trying to remove vocals from a song that I am using for a cerrent video project. I am new to audition, so I may be doing something wrong. I am using the remove vocal filter, but all I end up with is the vocals audio lowered with a screeching, metalic sound. Is there anything I can do to prevent this?

    Trevor,

What you hear is as good as it gets … The center channel extraction in Audition leaves a bit to be desired … It will remove the voice and any “like freqency’s” … The remaining voice you hear is because the voice is panned left and right as well as center, sorry …….. WILLIE
