    Hi there,

I’m relatively new to C4D and may not know the correct terminology for what I’m looking for but here goes:

I’ve built at track for a ride car that zig zags downwards. I currently have the car animated with Align to spline, but it’s not very satisfying animation. However I’d like to have the car use gravitational dynamics to react to hills and slopes in the track. Is there a straightforward way to achieve this? For an object to react to vertical gravitational forces, but have it’s travel constrained to a spline path?

    Thank you!

Here’s an image of my scene. screenshot2020-06-09at8.24.23pm.png. The chassis is the object I’d like to “roll” along the track. The car itself is attached with a connector so it can freely spin.
