… nothing matches exactly what I need; a patch of blood that grows into little rivulets. As a last resort I will create and animate a mask, then bevel it, but it’s a huge area and I would like some randomness. Ideally, I would like to draw some paths and have a bloody/blobby flow follow it.

I’ve tried; Mr Mercury – can’t follow a path, Foam – ditto, Blobbyize – no motion, Roughen Edges – not enough control, Glue Gun – no following a mask path & no real randomness…

The closest I am getting is a combination of 3-D Stroke/Roughen Edges/Bevel Alpha but this is still not quite right. It is proving hard to incorporate the initial growing puddle with this method.

    Cheers
