    Hi.

    I will be doing this as a test for myself – thus no money involved, b ut I’d rathe get it right.

    I’m getting a bunch of Varicam (720-p25) and HVX 400 (1080 p25 in over i50) 1 minute sshorts that have been edited on an AVID in (digi) SD (PAL).

    I’ll have a 1200 and a decklink plus Automatic duck – pro import (and a RAID and…)

    Is it as easy as to export the OMF from the AVID, import that to FCP through Automatic duck and then re-capture the footage in HD?

    I’ll need to get the graphics separately, and they’re apparently made in SD.
    I don’t have any other option than to scale them, do I?
