have been given mpeg4 file but must convert to mpeg2 and cannot get sizing right
Hi,
I’m not at work so don’t have the specs with me but will post them tomorrow from work.In the meantime, there may be a simple solution. I have purchased and downloaded an mpeg4 movie but my Vegas 9 can’t read it. So I used pazera to convert the mpeg4 to mpeg2 and I chose the standard pal mpeg2 settings.
However the picture comes into vegas as a small square (i.e. doesn’t take up the whole screen). when I go into settings in Vegas and choose the mpeg2 settings (576x??can’t remember from home) the picture still stays as a smaller square within the screen. I haven’t chosen letterboxing or widescreen or anything like that). I’ve ended up burning it that way because I couldn’t work out the problem but it doesn’t look good.
Alternatively, I don’t really even need Vegas if I could bring mpeg4 directly into DVD Architect 5.0. I will post there also but the reason I need Vegas is because DVDA couldn’t read the file.
Basically, I need it in a format that I can caption it.
