    Hi there,

I’m trying to hang a few small objects (sphere, cylinder) onto a cloth dynamic without the objects going through the cloth when the cloth moves. Can i do this in c4d?? I tried cloner, surface deformer, etc but it didn’t work.
i didn’t want to use collision deformer because i didn’t want to create a bag effect as in the cloth holding the objects.

BUT I want the objects to hang on to the cloth like a picture frame hanging on a wall if you know what i mean?
link to pics of my project here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zxrhiaec7z9liuu/Screen%20Shot%202016-10-25%20at%2012.03.28%20AM.png?dl=0

    THANK YOU!

That’s a tough problem because cloth dynamics and rigid body dynamics don’t really work together. You may be able to Mickey Mouse it to look right by using dynamics connectors to control the rigid body objects while belting them to the cloth. Here’s a basic example: 10729_sticktocloth.c4d.zip

    Hi Adam,

I am having a similar problem. But I only use the cloth dynamic tags. No rigid bodies.
I have a cloth that is belted in another cloth and it stretches out the first cloth abnormally.

It seems like that there is already a problem within the cloth tags
    Or am I missing something?

I like your Mickey – solution but i want it to stretch the cloth a bit
