Conform presets have “Handle mixed framerate material” checkbox selected.

However when I go to the conform page and control cick the timeline pane to import an AVID AAF, the LOAD AAF dialogue box always comes up with “Handle mixed framerate material” unchecked. This behavior applies to the first AAF imported for a particular project. After one has been imported, that setting is greyed out and cannot be changed for that project.

Now, even though my projects are not mixed framerate, I find that the AVID AAF roundtrip almost always fails unless I have selected “Handle mixed framerate material” checked. Everything appears ok in DAVINCI but when I then import the graded project in AVID, unless this box was check at the time of import into DAVINCI, the sequence will nearly always fail to play in AVID. All the clips are there but when I try to play it comes up with some mysterious error message and will not playback.

Anyway, it is very annoying that despite having set my presets in DAVINCI, this does not hold and reverts to default “non selected” state.
