    Good day, good day

So, I will get to the point. I want to rig a hand mesh that I made but from the looks of it, today is not my day. Im not pro either so go figure ☺

I essentially added an Ik chain and bind of joints to my hand mesh. I also added a morph tag to my root joint. When I go to move any given joint ( I leave the root our of this) by either rotating or changing the position the mesh gets funky and deforms. Before I go and make a new hand mesh would there be any way to go about this process differently to create the rig? I am aware of weight mapping, and I have attached a picture of me dabbling with the feature, but what should my goal be here, all the red zones to be green?

If any other approaches come to mind Id greatly appreciate your advice.
