Hello all! I recently bought a new Wacom tablet and wanted to try out some new stuff. My first idea was to basically draw on top of live animation like a cartoon, but I don’t want anything fancy. I want the aesthetic to be “hand drawn”.

The video below is the best example of what I want to do.

As you can see, there is a lot of rotoscoping and some clever masking effects. Sometimes, I think it will be as simple as keeping your subject still and alternating between 3 or 4 hand drawn “clothing layers” every few frames.

My biggest issue is for the segment with the children running and their Halloween costume being drawn on. Is there way where I can interpolate between frames as opposed to hand drawing each individual frame?

Thanks for any help you can give!
