Hair effects
Hi guys i have hair on my models and i am doing a 3d animation where i have to animate hair being shaved off my question is how would i accomplish this? can cut tool for hair be animated i looked all over and cant find anything is hair tool

the cut tool for hair is about styling before the shot, it does not actually cut the hair it just changes the length of the guides. To get hair to fall you would likely have to have poly hair or do something like a length change on the hair then use a particle emitter to produce the cut bits
