H4n for transcribing
Hi All, Planning on shooting interviews with an F3 to post ProRes in FCP and want to have the same timecode
for transcriptions as we have on the video so we can pull clips later. I believe the H4n can take a TC signal
onto one of its tracks. Then we give that file to the transcriber and they can time stamp the actual timecode
of the video onto the printed transcript. Am I right?Harry Dawson

I’m baffled. Have project in FCP–transcriber did a test and asked for the QT file. I want the timecode to match my source video–NOT the movie file that starts it’s counter at zero. Suggestions?
