H.264/MPEG-4 AVC not working on sony vegas pro 8
my avi H.264/MPEG-4 AVC is not working on sony vegas pro 8. I looked on the g-spot program to see if it was a codec problem, it told me my avi is codec h.264 which that I have the codec for yet it’s not working on my sonyvegas pro 8 not really sure what to do and I need those avi videos for making my amv I am planning on doing.

Do you have the x264vfw codec installed? That might help.

Yes I actually have that codec but it recognize the video format just the video is remain black.

It may be that Vegas Pro 8 doesn’t work with that particular flavor of AVC/h.264. Vegas Pro 8 is very old with regard to AVC support.
