    Hi,

I’ve created a 4GB H.264 output of my film which plays fine on my mac, but when I play the file on my colleague’s PC, the player hangs around 45 minutes in. I tried the file on my PC and it also hangs at the same spot. Tried playing the file with VLC and it crashes. The file length is 93 minutes. I have no idea why this happens. Any ideas?

Running Quicktime 7.2 on both Mac and PC. OS 10.4.10 and Windows XP.

    Thanks,
    Alexander

    Randy,
Never heard that one before. Do you know if this is also true
    with Vista?

    Vista does the same thing.

So much for HD features from the iTunes Store on a Windows machine.
Not a good cross platform situation at all.

This is crazy! I’m hiring a musician to write music and need to give him the video file of my 93 minute feature. Perhaps I’ll have to make a file less than 2GB or just create a DVD. Thanks for info guys!
