    Hi,

I have an HDV project in AE and would like to keep the quality of it when exporting out. I am trying to use the h.264 codec but whenever I try to use it I get an error message saying that there is a mismatch between my output module and transcode settings. Can anyone explain what I should do?

I need to hand this project in tomorrow. It’s my dissertation film.

    Any help would be appreciated.

and for strange sizes in CS4…

Since you are using strange sizes, there is no preset for you. You will have to use CS4’s custom Adobe Media Encoder.

    Select Edit > Export Settings.

The Export Settings dialog box appears. This dialog box lets you perform the following actions:

Specify alternate encoding settings to deliver video for different bandwidths and applications.

Crop and resize the video clip to alter its dimensions.
