H264 and larger files
Hello, I’ve been doing 8k virtual reality footage in premiere for some time. When I export my 8k x 2k composition as an h264, it’s been fine for the last few years. We recently tried to export 8k x 1k and the export size was clamped at 4096 in the horizontal. I understand there are limitations to the h264 codec, but I’m wondering why the 8k x 2k works fine, but 8k x 1k doesn’t. Just wondering for my own understanding. I tried everything to get it to work to no avail. Anyone have this issue?

changing the h.264 profile to high and level to 6.2 will unlock all resolutions including 8k x 1k
