I looked at the animation from Iowa State and I didn’t see any flashing. However, I have flashing with graphics created in LiveType. They play on my computer but when I play through the AJA in Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) the flashes will happen. Most graphics are fine, by once in a while a graphic will do it.

I can stop the computer on the timeline and the still graphic will continue to flash. Once a graphic flashes it will always flash if it is in the same position on the time line. I can use the same graphic elsewhere in the project and it plays back fine through the AJA.

I have found if I change the Video settings to Video Play ProRes 422 (not HQ) the graphic does not flash, BUT there is a bit of “keystone cops” jerkiness to all movements in the sequence.

All graphics use the same field dominance (upper odd).
