I am looking at getting a new camera for our department and am really interested in this camera. I have never worked on card before and i have a query.

What is the best way to upload the footage in the best quality to FCP on an apple mac pro.

    Is there special card readers?

    Many thanks

    Hey Mike.

The workflow is easy. I shoot to the SDHC card and it wraps it in mov format for use with FCP. I am using Transcend SDHC Cards. These work with the camera and are quite affordable. You can purchase with a card reader, maybe $15 or so for the reader.

I like this camera except for an audio issue. There is some type of grounding issue and it has to do with the optical board or something to that affect. Look lower on this forum for my earlier post. If they fix this issue, the camera is dynamite. If you get the camera with the audio issue, then you have to run everything you record through some type of audio software to get rid of the hiss.
