I’ve been reviewing mic a long time and this one has slipped by me. There are always some nice mics that never get caught in the mainstream. Usually though, there’s a good reason for it. Proceed with caution.
It’s sort of like going into an antique store when you don’t know a lot about antiques. Unless you know what the value of stuff is and why, you’re taking a gamble. If you knew a lot about shotgun mics and could try it out with a mixer and headphones, you could make an informed decision. Better yet, if you had another mic you knew pretty well with you, you could compare the two.
